Grass Roots Organization
KOG has rendered outstanding public
service to the lands and landowners. It has been successful because it is a grass-roots, non-controversial, non-profit educational movement dedicated to the single purpose of wildfire
prevention. Another of the principal reasons for the continued success of the KOG program is the consistent effort made to obtain the cooperation of every organization in the state that has
a valid interest in preventing wildfires in Oregon.
